Happy to help. A Beach Cottage is an amazing blog. I love it. Sarah provides some great ideas and very easy to follow tips on how to create a cool coastal style. Thanks for your comment.
Hello Fi, envious always of your ability to have "Pops" of colour when my theme cant take a lot, I was delighted to find some fab cushions at - dont know if I can say the name on your Blog - but the name of the shop has a Spot in it!! They are covered in French phrases and are striped blue, white and beige and look perfect on my white painted cane chairs. I absolutely LOVE the photo of your coloured chandelier, I have never seen another one like it.
Thanks for your comment. I saw the coloured chandelier on ebay before we even had our house built. It was the very first piece that I ever bought for our house. It does surprise people sometimes but it really just works in our open white space.
I have been meaning to pop into "Spotlight" for a while now. They have some cool fabrics that I would like to make some cushions out of! Fi xx
I agree the material section is the best around. I got some with the coated backing for sun and heat resistance normally used for curtains. The assistant said that material would sweat and hence not be suitable for cushion covers but we went ahead and got some great zipped up covers for a full cane suite made up in Bali. They wash well , havent sweated yet and used continually, look really smooth as if permanently pressed. A huge success! Good luck with your purchases - will you make your own cushion covers?
Hello Fiona Sounds like the rock chic in you is coming out LOL My house is going on the market next week. If you would like to see the finished product it is going on the market and will be on Realestate.com Alfred Cove if you would ike to see it. Couldnt resist the true me coming out. Not so much the Beach house look more French cottage ! Couldnt resist some pretty pieces and pops of colour. Love your opinion. Hope someone loves it enough to buy it LOL Lib
The bunting you have mentioned is a string of doileys that I bought on ebay. They are by Robert Gordon. I are actually love heart shapes and I have folded the very top part of the heart over a piece of string and then stapled the doiley to the string.
Hello! xx
